Joe Tartakoff joined paidContent.org as a correspondent in March 2009.

He was previously the Microsoft beat reporter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and author of the P-I’s Microsoft Blog. He has also written for the San Francisco Chronicle, the Miami Herald and the Palm Beach Post.

He grew up in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, and graduated from Harvard College, where he was an executive editor at the Crimson, in charge of the paper’s city coverage.

He lives with his cat, Toad, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.
